Circles or the new UBI in town
Presenting our latest hackathon partner, Circles! A unique crypto project supported by Gnosis that reimagines money through a system of trust and social connections. Instead of traditional mining or staking, Circles creates a personal, inflationary currency for each user, which gains value as others trust and connect with them.
At its core, Circles is about universal basic income (UBI) and building a community-powered economy. Every user generates new tokens daily, but those tokens only become useful when others in the network accept them—so trust and relationships are the real currency. 🤝💸
It’s experimental, social, and idealistic—a bold step toward a more equitable financial future. We look forward to seeing what you will build at ETHDam using Circles!
